A small, in 2021, completely renovated aparthotel right on the beach in the resort of Gournes, Heraklion prefecture.
You can stay in comfortable apartments for up to 5 people or studios for 2 people with a cot. The hotel also has a pool for adults with a beautiful pool bar and a second smaller pool for children. You will also find outdoor seating in the hotel area, which you can use both for breakfast and for a snack or watching large-screen TV. Another outdoor seating area and bar where you can have a drink or a snack like pizza, burger, etc. is right on the beach.
WiFi is also available throughout the hotel, sometimes it doesn't reach the back rooms.
All rooms have a balcony with a view of the sea or the garden and the surrounding area, and are equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a table with chairs for sitting. The apartments have a kitchenette for preparing coffee, tea and a stove, for example for heating a sausage or a simple meal. It includes a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and hairdryer. In the studios you will find everything like in the apartments, only without the option of a stove. In the rooms you will also find towels and bath towels for use only in the rooms. In several taverns, cafes and a mini market nearby. In the neighboring resort, which can be reached on foot, a larger selection of shops. Big supermarket 10 minutes walk.
There are sunbeds and umbrellas on the sandy beach and a gradual entry into the sea, which is especially appreciated by families with children and older travelers.
There is also a long promenade around the hotel with taverns and cafes and a small shop about 50m from the accommodation. Other shopping options 15 minutes' walk away, as well as a famous pastry shop with excellent ice cream.
